Welcome to the UK's leading annual conference on all aspects of e-democracy, from e-campaigning, e-petitions and e-voting to the use of the internet and new technologies in the policy cycle; democratic activity and engagement. The event - our seventh - is set to take place on 2 December 2010 at the Grand Connaught Rooms in central London.

This year's programme is almost complete, and is set to be as strong this year as our regular attendees have come to expect, featuring MPs, analysts, academics, practitioners and citizen representatives.

This workshop will talk focus on how to manage petitions in partnership by looking at the experience of the Europetitions service which supports local authorities in five different countries in creating petitions for the European Parliament.
Kevin O'Malley of Bristol City Council, the UK Cluster lead, will talk about UK experience of working in partnership on this project and Peter Cruickshank of Napier University, Edinburgh will provide details of research and lessons learned.
